Hi, I’m Miri
Producer, recording and mix engineer in Bristol (she/her).
As a female producer in a heavily male-dominated industry, I care deeply about creating recording and production spaces where artists feel comfortable, supported, and creatively confident throughout the process.
Whether you’re recording your first release or developing your sound further, I aim to make the experience collaborative, inspiring, and genuinely artist-focused.
Why ELFCAT Audio exists:
I studied Creative Music Technology at Bath Spa University and became obsessed with recording. After graduating and working on various projects in studios around Bristol, I quickly fell deeply in love with working with artists on the entire process from demo through to release.
Watching someone’s face after I show them their finished mix, the exciting moment in the studio when they get the perfect take, coaching a nervous performer until they realise their abilities, I could go on and on…
I started ELFCAT Audio because not all studio experiences are positive. I’ve seen too many sessions where artists weren’t treated with respect, and their projects didn’t get the care they deserved.
I wanted to create the studio I wish I’d seen when I was starting out: somewhere supportive and inspiring, where you can explore your sound, build confidence in your ideas and feel understood throughout the process.
Why a cat in headphones?

The ELFCAT logo is a funny-looking sphynx cat wearing headphones. I love sphynx cats, they look so weird and funky! ELFCAT is a reminder that weird is cool. There’s no one-size-fits-all in music, and you should feel free to be as weird and wonderful as you like.
